Biography

Born in Madrid, Sebastián Gálvez has lived in NY since 2009. He studied acting at Cristina Rota's studio in Madrid, Centro de Nuevos Creadores.

In addition, he got his bachelor's degree in Business and Administration at Saint Louis University. He worked in banking for almost a decade as Director of Partnership Network at Bankinter. However, his passion for acting made him pursue his dream making a career as an Actor, Stage Director, Producer, Playwright, Singer, and Coach for Actors. Founding his own theatre company in Spain, Puente Aéreo Teatro.

Thanks to a scholarship granted by the Spanish Ministry of Culture he continued his education in New York with Susan Batson. Who gave him the opportunity of acting in the US as Yves Montand in the Slices of Lives Production. And directing at the Screen Writers Night Film Festival of The School of Visual Arts. This opened him the doors to the American Industry, where his career is now managed by Susan B Talent Management.

Sebastian also coaches actors, such as Broadway's Billy Elliot at the Susan Batson Studio NYC, where he has had the great fortune to share working space with artists like Juliette Binoche, Nicole Kidman, or Lyv Tyler, among others.

Cofounder of AENY-The Bridge. A non profit organization established in the fall of 2010 to promote inter-disciplinary artistic collaborations and build a cultural bridge between Spain and the United States. Sebastian is the head of the Education Department and strongly believes in Art Without Borders!
